ALY MORRISON'S "BUTTERFLY" ADVENTURES IN THE WORLD OF WARGAMES AND TOY SOLDIERS

I can't see the wood...

For the trees...

Mharaid is coming over for a skirmish game on Saturday...

I thought I would go for a forest setting...

No doubt I will get the sap kicked out of me...

All the best   Aly.

  1. Perhaps you will turn over a new leaf and get a victory?

  2. "Shiver me timbers" That's alot of woods, however, should be a lovely game. Off topic, Aly, do you have a pic of a 1836 Austrian Hussar shako? Need a pic/illustration for Steve to make the Banerial Croat Hussars for the Hungarian Up-Rising. Thank you. Best wishes for your game, Helen

    1. Hi Helen
I have found two pictures of Austrian Hussars in Das Deutsche Bundesheer...
They don’t look that different from the Napoleonic uniforms... the shako appears to be more bell shaped in one of them...
I can send you a photo of the pages if you want.

      All the best. Aly

  3. Having read reports of previous games I think the battlefield is well selected Aly...lots of places to hide...

  4. Nice array of K&M trees--especially well suited for stashing a few carefully placed figures among the branches (just in case...).
