On Sunday Mharaid and I went to The ROBIN wargames show in Nottingham...
https://www.wargamesevents.co.uk/
This is the second ROBIN show and also the second one we have been to...
We had both enjoyed the first show...although it was a tad cold and felt a bit empty... it was really nice to have a show that we can get to by tram.
This year was a considerable improvement... it was a lot warmer and busier...there were also more traders and display games...
Of course being on home ground there were a lot of people we knew...I think we spent more time chatting to friends than anything else... nothing wrong with that.
Here are a few pictures of some games that caught my eye...
The Battle of Port Arthur... Derby Wargames.
Crete 1941...Lenton Gamers.
A nice looking Eastern Front game... Sadly I am not sure who by.
A lovely display of kit by... The 2nd Battalion Royal Warwickshire Reenactors.
The battle of Lake Erie... The Furness Warlords Wargames Society.
A lovely little display by Spectre Miniatures.... I really like the cacti.
I only bought one miniature... Shock Horror!
But I did but a few really important and necessary publications...
After the show we popped on the tram and went to our favourite Chinese restaurant...so a very enjoyable day in excellent company.
All the best Aly
