Slow going and Partizan….

Greetings….

For various reasons things continue to be quite slow on all fronts at the moment…

Building work and accompanying dust and disruptions but also a nasty flare up of my Fibromyalgia ( the stress of building work and dust probably had a lot to do with this) are getting in the way of painting toys.

So I am finding it quite painful to walk , I ache everywhere and I am wheezing…

Oh! The joys of age 🤣🤣🤣

I did manage a ( Very) short visit to Partizan thanks to Alan and Michael. Hurrah!

Unfortunately with the Fibromyalgia and the heat in the building I didn’t really see very much… I definitely didn’t get many pictures.

I did however chat to quite a few of my chums… many who popped back to where I was sitting to make sure I was okay…

There are a a lot of truly wonderful people in our hobby.

Anyway…. Here are my very few photos…

Yes …. Mostly from The Bodkins table.

It’s where I was sitting/ propping myself up 😁

I wish I had gotten a picture of Peter Dennis’s Hastings game… Which featured thousands of cut out 18mm Paper Boys figures…. This can only be described as a labour of love.

I did however (With the aid of my secret agents scattered around the hall ) find the winner of the Adrian Shepherd Vignette Trophy…

From the Raw Gamers “ They Don’t Like it up Em “ game…

A group of pieces showing the Tanning and Dying process… complete with tubs of Urine.

You could almost smell it…🤢🤣

Well done indeed.

Shopping… yes I managed the quickest shop I’ve ever done.

I’ve been listening to a fantastic podcast that has covered the post Hastings Uprisings/Rebellions/Civil and Continental Wars….

They went on ( and occasionally off) for nearly forty years…. Fascinating stuff.

So obviously I needed these…

Okay… Time for more tidying… and hopefully painting.

All the best   Aly
