The Other Partizan... The Booty...

Of course I forgot to post pictures of my booty... (ooo!Eer!)

I already have this book... as should we all...
But this second edition has some nice artwork from my friend Mark Allen... and I had money in my pocket...
I highly recommend it by the way... a jolly good read.

Well you can never have enough books on the Swiss in French service... honest.

Lets not forget the lead...
Some really important really needed Russians for the Russo-Japanese War from Empress Miniatures... This is a 'next year' thing...

Not a lot really... I clearly need to try harder... that lead mountain doesn't build itself...

All the best   Aly

  1. "The Lead Mountain doesn't build itself." Hilarious, Aly! Quite right too! I must give myself points for keeping a well-stocked Lead Mountain!

I look forward to seeing a RJW project from you.

    1. By the look of things you are definitely a lead mountaineer...
I have always been interested in the RJW and the Tsuba miniatures are so nice...
It will be a slow burner...

      All the best. Aly

  3. You were very restrained there Aly. I put that down to your recent illness.

  4. Well it will shore the mountain up a tad, and the book barrow will have gained some height too.

  5. Marlborough's Other Army has been a great little book in planning to build my WSS project, but I've refrained from buying the updated book just for new plates. You haven't discovered any additional edits in there, Aly?

    1. It is indeed a great little book...
I haven’t had a chance to read through it yet... but I like Marks artwork and there is a plate showing Catalonian troops and standards and another showing Portuguese... so it had to happen...;-)

      All the best. Aly

  6. You will love working on those Tsuba Russo-Japanese figures they are quite superb. I have a few (well a few hundred actually) of them and am looking to fill a few gaps with their later releases.
