The Hundred Days…. French Imperial Guard Engineers.

Greetings…

Here are a few more simple conversations…

French Imperial Guard Engineers…

These are made from FN250 French Napoleonic Infantry Battalion 1807-1814… with Carabiner heads from…

FN 120 Plastic French Napoleonic Heavy Cavalry.

The plumes were sculpted from Green Stuff…

These will be a 12 man unit when they are finished…

They were brigaded with the Marins of the Guard which I think are doable if I stick to the campaign uniform.

I am very pleased with how they have turned out… Another simple but effective conversion.

All the best   Aly

  3. Very nicely done. They should look very smart on the table with the Marines!

    1. Thank you Ed…
I think I have worked out a way to convert up some ‘Plastic’ Marins..
So it should make for a nice interesting little brigade…

  4. Simple conversion but as you say a very effective one, the unit should look great when painted up, something that wee bit different.

    1. Thank you Donnie…
Blue with black facings may sound a bit somber… But if you add in the red piping and brass helmet and buttons you get a surprisingly colourful uniform…

  5. Clearly having too much fun sticking things together; or is it just a canny way to inhale those plastic solvents?☺

    1. I think the Marins looked after things like Pontoons and the Engineers did siege works and the like… But I could be wrong.
