Greetings…
Here are another two rebased Roman units…
As before spears have been replaced and a little sprucing has happened…
There will be a slight pause in rebasing and maybe a slow down in painting as I sort through… and find somewhere to put… the forty odd 2x2 foot terrain boards I have just acquired.
They have been well loved and well played with so they are in need of some light sprucing and the odd repair… hopefully it won’t be too long before I have the toys out on them.
All the best. Aly

Nice work on the re-basing Aly, the cavalry are particularly nicely done. Great pile of terrain boards, plenty of good games to be had on them!
ReplyDeleteThank you Donnie…

Looks like you're getting on well with things
ReplyDeleteSlow and steady at the moment Rob…

They have scrubbed up really nicely Aly! Best of luck with the terrain boards!
ReplyDeleteThank you David…
DeleteI’m looking forward to doing some sprucing on the terrain…
All the best. Aly
Those terrain boards look like a major project; just finding somewhere to store them safely!
ReplyDeleteNeil
The boards all fit nicely in my cellar Neil 😁

Brilliant basing and boards there.
ReplyDeleteThank you Phil…

Some cracking looking figures, Aly, Love the arid, bleached colour you used for the bases. That's a lot of terrain board to store, will they be propping up your bed?
ReplyDeleteThank you Ray…
DeleteThe boards will be insulating the cellar 🤣
All the best. Aly
The basing looks great
ReplyDeleteThe terrain boards are a major project, unless you can just ' re flock '
Thank you Joe…
DeleteHopefully it should only take a bit of re-flocking to spruce up the boards…
All the best. Aly
MORE rebasing.. the fun never stops cheers Morrison! The figures are great, as are their new bases!
ReplyDeleteI only just noticed that the smart-ass Blogger changed the word "chez" to cheers .....
DeleteThank you Keith…
DeleteI have a few more units and then a bunch of command stands to do and that should be the last of it…
Goat to love productive spooling 🙀
All the best from Cheers Morrison.
Lovely looking Romans Aly the rebasing is working well. The boards are a great addition. But yes 40 will take up a LOT of space !
ReplyDeleteThank you Matt…
DeleteThe boards will save me making brand new ones… Which was my intention…. I had already allocated some space in the cellar.
All the best. Aly
Always like the idea of terrain squares, but the storage issue is a challenge.
ReplyDeleteI am lucky enough to have enough space in my cellar…
DeleteI should be able to fit a few more flat/ moorland/ grassland ones in there as well…
All the best. Aly
Those terrain boards look pretty good, I'm interested to see how well they go together. Old-school figures somehow look better on terrain boards as opposed to cloths - but with so many figures to paint I just can't seem to get round to doing terrain.
ReplyDeleteBTW did those archers really wear purple? I thought that was just for emperors, or do they just have a high opinion of themselves?
I’m very pleased with them Rob…
DeleteYou really have to set a fair amount of time aside to make a pile of terrain boards…So this has given me a head start.
The Archers are Purple because that’s the colour David painted them…😄.
Although I do like the idea that they have got a high opinion of themselves…
All the best. Aly
Nice couple of units Aly and nice score on the terrain boards. I here the same issue with terrain storage...there are bits stored in three or four places in the house.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mark…
DeleteI new when I was having the cellar Tanked out that I wanted space for Terrain… So it was designed in… Fingers crossed there should be enough room.🤞
All the best. Aly
Lovely bit of rebasing and interesting looking terrain boards!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thank you Iain…
DeleteThere are indeed some lovely looking boards … I’m looking forward to giving them a bit of a spruce up and playing some games on them…
All the best. Aly
