I Have just realized that I haven't posted any photo's from this years trip to Tactica...
As always it was a splendid show with lots of great games... covering everything from the Prehistoric World through to High Fantasy, Star Wars and Warhammer...
The main theme for this year was Seiges
Here are a few games that caught my eye...
A star Wars Game... Red Two Down... By THS
Dyppol 1864...By Bruce Weigle and Friends...
More Star Wars... By Martin Schneider and Friends.
Frank Becker's Fort William Henry...
The Siege of Antioch... by Rusus.
The Siege of Acre... by Table Top Nerdz Mainz... not the best picture I'm afraid...
The Siege of Orleans... by Frank Bauer.
The Wall... Game of Thrones... by Frank Becker and Friends.
The Bataver Insurrection... by Team Wurfelkrieg.
More Fort William Henry... Mostly because I joined in a game .... and didn't loose horribly.
A beautiful WW1 Air War game ... by Svend Ask Larsen and Friends.
There were many more games than the ones I managed to photograph ...

All the best Aly
Some very fine tables there. Too bad I didn't manage it... again.
ReplyDeleteIt is well worth a visit...
DeleteAll the best. Aly
Well, yes I know. Been there a few times and had the pleasure of meeting you in person, but sadly haven't managed for a couple of years.
DeleteExcellent show photos, Aly!
ReplyDeleteWeigle's lanscapes are immediately identifiable and the Forth William Henry model is superb.
The Dyppol game was of real interest to me as we had visited the site last year...
DeleteAll the best. Aly
Some very splendid games, real inspiration đ
ReplyDeleteEverything is always of a very high standard...

Great pictures of an interesting looking show Aly
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed Keith...
DeleteThere is always a lot to see...
All the best Aly
One fantasy game is one too many for my tastes, but at least the historical games seem to be proper wargames and not these never ending games in a box for the Goldfish Gamers!
ReplyDeleteIt is a grand and open minded show David...
DeleteYou might even enjoy it...
All the best. Aly ;-)
If it were at a different time of year I'm sure I would have attended by now, but as it is in February it's too cold for we elderly folkđ
DeleteSplendid and spectaculat tables, love the "Siege of Tire"...thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt’s a pleasure Phil...
DeleteEvery time I go I am always surprised and enthused by what I see...
All the best. Aly
Looks like a great deal of work, skill and imagination has gone into creating and staging these games!
ReplyDelete(ps, glad to hear you didn't lose horribly)
There is also a lot of support and camaraderie as well...
DeleteYes... it was nice to see some glory;-)
All the best. Aly
Great stuff. I do hope to get there one day.
ReplyDeleteIt is well worth the effort Paul...

Now that is some serious amount of work put into those games. Would love to have seen them in the flesh.
ReplyDeleteThey do seem to attract some of the best from the world of wargaming...
DeleteAll the best. Aly
Splendid tables on view there, they really go to town regardless of genre.
ReplyDeleteThey do seem to put their ‘all’ into what they do...
DeleteAll the best. Aly
Some hard work has gone into those wonderful games ..... captured may I say by some very nice photography.
ReplyDeleteThe effort really shows Norm...

All the best. Aly
