The War of 1812… Another British unit.

Greetings…

Here we have another addition to my British 41st Regiment of foot…

This is the last of the 41st for the moment… and as with all of these… they have been a real pleasure to paint…

The Tunics are… Citadel… Evil Sunz Scarlet.

The Trousers and Braid are… Citadel… Pallid Wych Flesh.

The Knapsacks are… Foundry… Drab Light 12C.

The Straps are… Citadel… Corax White.

The Water Bottles are… Citadel… Russ Grey.

The Water Bottle Straps… Citadel… Skrag Brown.

The Muskets are… Citadel… Mournfang Brown.

As always everything was given a coat of Aly’s Brown Liquid and highlighted with the original colours, the belts were further highlighted up with pure White.

The figures are from Knuckleduster Miniatures

The paints are Wargames Foundry and Citadel...

The bases are as always...

The next unit on the 1812 list are some Canadian Light Dragoons…

Hopefully I can pick up some American style buildings… and then hopefully a game will follow soon.

All the best.  Aly

  1. Nice, as usual. Plus always good to see figures from a less popular? period.

  2. More great work Aly. Are you intending to paint any of the units that arrived from the Carribean wearing white shako covers? There were two or three in the reference material I used, so of course I did a couple, for the sake of variety, even though in reality, they probably replaced their shakos with standard ones as soon as they reached Canada!
