Hurrah! Hurrah!... Another Birthday...
Well... Another year... almost to the day... since I started blogging.
No one is more surprised than I am that I have managed to stay relatively on track with my War of Spanish Succession project... I get closer and closer to having a game with each new unit.
This of course doesn't mean that my butterfly has been entirely silent... there are many many more toys that I would like to paint...
The French in Egypt... The War of 1812... Shiny Napoleonics... Shiny 1830s... Sassanids... and on and on...
As I said last year it is defiantly your support and encouragement dear followers that has kept me focused...although some of you are also responsible for my temptations...
For this ... I thank you.
Apparently I now have had 85,035 views... quit a bit up on last year... I am indeed thankful for all the Viagra salesmen and bots that have helped this along...
As for the next year... More of the same...
All the best Aly
Happy 2nd birthday for a blog that is like a birthday gift itself!

Happy Blogiversary, I wonder whose figures you will be using for the War of 1812?😉
ReplyDeleteThank you David...
DeleteYes the answer to whose figures I would use would seem obvious...
But I have been mulling over alternatives... I was rather tempted to go for a different size...40mm or even 54mmm...
Madness ... I know... I wont be doing anything till well into next year... I will see what the butterfly thinks nearer the time... ;-)
All the best Aly
Shiny 1830s? Now THAT sounds like something I could get my own wargaming teeth into. In any case, congratulations. Your blog is inspiring and just plain fun to peruse.
ReplyDeleteBest Regards,
Stokes (Grand Duchy of Stollen)
Thank you Stokes...
DeleteI painted a couple of 42mm test figures last year... I’m thinking a what if?... Seven Weeks War but set in the 1830s.
