      In a lot of ways it looks more like something from the Franco-Prussian war... but with more machine guns

      The dogs are quite bizarre....
      But one of the things I really liked was how quick the sappers got on with the pontoon bridge...

    Fascinating footage. There is something so Victorian about the Belgian army on the eve of ww1.

      Shakos ,Bearskins and Infantry in columns...
