A Couple of New Books

Greetings...

I have just taken delivery of these books

They are the first volumes in each series... and are rather good .
Lots and lots of pretty pictures...
I will no doubt buy the rest...

  6. These do look like very nice books Aly. I have just finished reading The Steel Bonnets by George MacDonald Fraser - a great read full of wonderful anecdotes and potential wargaming scenarios!

      When I lived in Edinburgh we used to regularly go for drives in the borders... I managed to encourage many visits to places mentioned in the book...

  9. Yes! This publisher has a range of rather good books that you can spend a fortune on. I have their books on Austrian Napoleonic army. Very useful with lots of interesting data that I haven’t seen before.
