Shiny Napoleonics… The next Building.

Greetings…

Here is the next of my new buildings…

Decoster’s House…

Once again from Sarissa Precision…

https://sarissa-precision.com/products/decosters-house-15mm

From their 15mm Napoleonic Range…

Another nice easy to build model… And fun to do…

This was painted more or less the same way as the previous buildings…But this time I used Citadel Deepkin Flesh for the walls…

It’s a nice colour… I may have to use it again.

The mojo and butterfly seem to be in harmony at the moment 🤣🦋🤣🦋…Hurrah!

A few more buildings have been ordered…

All the best.   Aly

I don’t think it’s faux Tudor enough to be a Boris Home 😁

  2. I confess not being a Nappy fan I had to look that up; I thought it was some sort of odd profession - someone who "uncosts" ☺ Which would mean there was a "coster" as well! ☺
Another nice job, wouldn't have thought of using a flesh colour......

Decoster is apparently Dutch for a Parish Clerk… I assume that was his house…
I do like the idea of an uncoster…
      Trader….“That costs ten pounds”
      Uncoster…. “ No it doesn’t “
      🤣

  3. Another very nice building and it looks great all painted up, the Citadel colour works really well. It looks like your village is sprouting into a town!

I really enjoy making terrain so a town would be fine… maybe even a city 😁

  5. Smashing job Aly - you are inspiring me to dig out the backlog boxes and do some buildings of my own! I have had some dubious results with MDF kits, but you have restored my faith!

  9. I was familiar with all the "usual suspect" buildings of Waterloo, but not this one. Thanks for learnin' me something today (and it should fit in nicely among your others).

  10. According to some "building buildings" will repair everything. You are saving us all. If untrue your games table will be enhanced with this addition!

  12. This building looks great--well done.

Sorry to post off topic, but you painted a space marine for Darren Latham's 90s marine challenge in September last year being a Blood Angel marine in a camo scheme - I'm wanting to copy the scheme for a project I'm doing but haven't painted anything like that before - do you have any notes about how you did it that you would be prepared to share?

Thank you - sorry didn't how else to contact you but thought I'd ask.

    Cheers.

I didn’t make any notes to speak of… just a couple of pictures…

I don’t really put Sci-Fi/Fantasy/GW related stuff on the blog but if you are on Lead Adventure you could PM me and I will see if I can give you some pointers…
