The Other Partizan 2025.

Greetings…

At the weekend I paid a flying visit to the Other Partizan….

This years show was certainly a busy one with many splendid games to see…

I only had a couple of hours to get around the games and get some shopping done so I have not taken as many pictures as I might have… But hopefully what I have will give a good reflection of the quality.

Leuthen 1757… By The League of Extraordinary Kreigspielers

Mars Defends… By Bunny Badger Games.

The Battle of Ellisville-1863… By The Bunker.

Five Games at Arnhem… By Old Pikey’s Gaming Group.

The Battle of Montargris 1427… By The Bodkins.

Somewhere in the Low Countries 1673… By North Star.

The Black Ship… By The Iron Brigade.

The War of Spanish Succession… By The League of Augsburg.

Oscar Mike - WWII… By Rubicon Models.

Breed’s Hill… By Steve’s Paintingshed.

Newarkscki 1683… By The Skirmish Wargames Collective.

My Loot… Quite restrained for me 🙀🤣🤣.
I did manage to chat with a few friends but some I only saw from the other side of the (very busy ) room.
It was indeed a jolly morning out with chums.

All the best.  Aly

  1. Lovely photos, looks like a great show, I do fancy a 28mm 18th century warship but I don't know where I'd keep it! Very restrained purchases!

  2. You managed to take some fine shots of the games in the time you were there. A focussed spend there I see too. It's a pity our paths didn't cross its always a joy to have a natter.

    1. Yes it is a shame indeed… We will need to put the world to rights next time…
I’m working through some bits and pieces that have been on my painting table for a while and then it will hopefully be full steam ahead on the Hundred Days.

  9. A nice way to spend a couple of hours Aly...lots of superb games...didn't you make it to the Charnwood WW2 table..have seen a few other blogs and it looked absolutely next level in terms of scenery!
Some good purchases to round out the day, too.

Sadly I missed the Charnwood game…And quite a few others.
It’s a good job there were others who had time to cover more of the games than I had time to…

Little Wars is our local con. I’ve run games there many times, but life has gotten in the way, and it’s been years since I attended.

I reckon if I had stayed longer I would have had an even bigger bag of loot… so probably a good thing for my wallet that I left early 😁

  16. Great pictures, not been to Partizan for a few years but always enjoyed the show, so it's nice to see what was on display on the day. Thank you! The new project looking interesting, I've recently dug out some French and British Napoleonics out and resisting the temptation to interrupt my Jacobite project. Cheers Meic
