Greetings...
This is the next instalment of my involvement in Alan Perry’s Potomac Campaign...
The Battle at Point of Rocks...
Once again I shall refer you to Alan’s reasonably accurate account as my only recollection was that it was glorious...

“As I recall I took possession of the ridge and as the tidal wave of secessionists washed against my bastion I had the pleasure of watching a great victory unfold below me. General Ebenezer Leonidas Luckless the Third.

Great looking game Aly and your succinct narrative provides sufficient tactical and strategic analysis, without becoming bogged down in monotonous minutiae!
ReplyDeleteQuite right sir... one does not need a hyperbolic display to describe a great victory... It speaks for itself...
DeleteYours... Luckless
Very impressive!

DeleteWonderful photo story Aly and I always laugh at your gaming crews wonderful photoshopping skills when it comes to generals of the day. I always find yours the most believable. Well done General Luckless!

What a joy to play in such a visual spectacle of a game! No doubt, despite advancing years, your memories of a resounding triumph are reliable...to a point?
