Sleepy guards the town and the Yule Goat…
Any group of Toy Town Soldiers entering the Town without an item from the Christmas Dinner will be confronted by this sleepy looking soul…
Anyone or anything trying to destroy the Yule Goat will also be confronted by him…
He may look mild but his stats were something like an Elite Veteran Imperial Guard Grenadier Sergeant…
He is as hard as nails…
Melty the (Soon to be Ex )Snowman…
Any Snowman … Except Sleepy… Who encounters Melty must take an immediate moral test with a minus 2 on dice rolls….
Who could forget the the Cease and Desist Order/Orders from Ben And Jerry’s…
The Exclusion Order/Orders from Tinkerbell…
And The Candyfloss Affair 😱.
The Three Snowballs of the Apocalypse…
Ken Pump and Bob Brush….( Okay we probably all know who they really are 🤣).
Anyone who encounters these upstanding fellows will immediately miss a turn as they get canvassed about their voting preferences in the next election…
You must defeat them in hand to hand combat to get away…
They will move at random or towards anyone in line of sight if not engaged in canvassing/boring people half to death.
Yup!
It’s Drinky and Drunky…
If you are unfortunate enough to encounter either of these drunken idiots they will…
On a roll of…
1-2…” Didn’t you spill my Beer?”…Fight Fight Fight…
You must engage in hand to hand combat… If you win they will wander off… If you lose you will be knocked over and miss a turn… They will wander off..
2-4…” Your my New Best Friend “… Whomever will join your party and will loyally follow you until they see their Real Best Friend ( Drunky or Drinky) or The Yule Goat… Which must be Brunt 🔥🔥🔥
5-6… They will completely ignore you and wander off to find their Real Best Friend or the Yule Goat.
Drunky, Drinky, Ken and Bobs moves are decided by a random directional dice throw… Or if the actually have line of sight to a new Friend/Target…
Christmas Dinner and ‘Trimmings’… Collect as many as you can and the head for the Christmas tree in the town…
Snowmen…
As you encounter these fellows they are added to your force as basic infantrymen…
When Hell Freezes Over this is what gets released….
The two smaller Snowballs were treated like Elite Light Cavalry and the bigger one as an Elite Dragoon.
They move randomly bouncing around the field of battle like crazed billiard balls…
If you end up in their line of sight they will go straight at you and attack…
If you win or draw in combat you have jumped out of the way and survive…If not you take damage…
The best you can hope for is to simply be knocked down and miss a move…
If a Snowman is beaten in combat it is destroyed/absorbed by the Snowball…
It turns out these things were bloody lethal…
I will probably post the game up tomorrow…
Having spent the afternoon having a lovely late lunch at Cleaver and Wake restaurant here in Nottingham… I am going to put my feet up and let it go down…
Smoked Salmon, Venison and Sticky Toffee Pudding rounded off with Coffee and Japanese Whisky for me and a Cucumber and Mint based Cocktail for Mharaid…
All very seasonal I would say😁
