Lion Rampant… A Merry Monk.

Greetings…

My friend Israel bought a pack of Wargames Foundry Medieval Civilian Character figures…

He suggested that it might be fun for our little Lion Rampant gaming group to each paint a figure of our own choice…
This was mine…

A nice simple figure…Full of character and a joy to paint…

The Habit is… Citadel… Doombull Brown.
The Cord is… Foundry… Drab Light 12C.

As always everything was given a wash of Alys Brown Liquid and re-highlighted with the original colours.

The paints are Wargames Foundry and Citadel

The base is as always…

This little chap will hopefully be taking part as a Character/Victim in a game quite soon.

All the best.  Aly

  8. An agitator if ever I saw one. And if not, well, certainly a nice "accessory" figure to dress a games table (perhaps leading a flock of geese...actual geese, as opposed to...never mind).

I do have a small flock of geese… Angry geese would make for an entertaining encounter .

  10. Aly, nice work on the monk. Good brown for the habit. Should he not be shielded by his faith, and indeed some of the faithful?

  11. I hope you don’t make a HABIT of painting ecclesiastical figures. Sorry someone had to do a monk related joke and I drew the short straw. Lovely piece of work as always!
