Greetings…
He suggested that it might be fun for our little Lion Rampant gaming group to each paint a figure of our own choice…
This was mine…
A nice simple figure…Full of character and a joy to paint…
The Habit is… Citadel… Doombull Brown.
The Cord is… Foundry… Drab Light 12C.
As always everything was given a wash of Alys Brown Liquid and re-highlighted with the original colours.
The paints are Wargames Foundry and Citadel
The base is as always…
This little chap will hopefully be taking part as a Character/Victim in a game quite soon.
All the best. Aly
He certainly is a characterful figure and very nicely done, handy little figure to have.
ReplyDeleteThank you Donnie…
DeleteHopefully he will survive his first encounter…
All the best. Aly
Brother Caedfel?
ReplyDeleteMore likely… Brother Drinkwell 🤣

Nice Aly ……we all need a few monks, mine mainly get killed in the dark ages though !
ReplyDeleteThank you Matt…
DeleteIt would be nice to do a few more… maybe some pilgrims.
All the best. Aly
Nice work, I look forward to hearing his fate soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kym…

Cadfael!
ReplyDeleteHe is definitely more of a Drinkwell…😁

An agitator if ever I saw one. And if not, well, certainly a nice "accessory" figure to dress a games table (perhaps leading a flock of geese...actual geese, as opposed to...never mind).
ReplyDeleteHaving him as an agitator would make for a good scenario…
DeleteI do have a small flock of geese… Angry geese would make for an entertaining encounter .
All the best. Aly
Pure piety.
ReplyDeleteSome how I expected that his interests are far from pious…😈

Aly, nice work on the monk. Good brown for the habit. Should he not be shielded by his faith, and indeed some of the faithful?
ReplyDeleteThank you Joe…
DeleteI think he is shielded by his taste for fine wine…
All the best. Aly
I hope you don’t make a HABIT of painting ecclesiastical figures. Sorry someone had to do a monk related joke and I drew the short straw. Lovely piece of work as always!
ReplyDeleteBless you JBM…
DeleteI really enjoyed painting hymn so I may bow down to temptation and paint some more….
All the best. Aly
Brother Cadfael is looking very spick and span there!
ReplyDeleteThank you David…
DeleteBrother Cadfael would be a lot better behaved than this fellow 😁
All the best. Aly
Excellent looking brother, I've been looking at a few on the Perry site, you can never have enough clergy for some reason?
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thank you Iain…
DeleteThe Perry’s have indeed made some lovely characterful civilian figures…
All the best. Aly
He certainly looks like a Drinkwell, Aly, with that bright red hooter and blurry eyes!
ReplyDeleteYes … I feel that he has named himself 😁
DeleteAll the best. Aly
