A really impressive sight: there should be almost two hundred miniatures marching!
ReplyDeleteThank you …
DeleteThere will be more to come…
All the best. Aly
Your Russians look great! You may need a larger light box.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan…
DeleteRather a larger light box than smaller units 😁
All the best. Aly

Another one of the many, many wars I had considered . History is just too big and time is just too limited...
ReplyDeleteTrue there are always many more tempting periods and never enough time…
DeleteI will try my best though…
All the best. Aly
Not a very exciting task,Aly,but the new bases do look very nice indeed, so a job well done 👍
ReplyDeleteYes not the most exciting thing in the world Keith…
DeleteBut worth it when you see everything set up on the table…
All the best. Aly
Very nice Aly! How big are the armies for this Crimean War project?
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Jan
Thank you Jan…
DeleteI have four more Russian battalions to do … Which will give me a Jäger Regiment…
After that I may add a Grenadier Regiment… Mostly because I like the flags…
I think I have the makings of eight British Battalions…
I will see how it goes after they are finished/rebased.
All the best. Aly
Those are equally nice and depressing for some of us...
ReplyDeleteThank you David…

Hi Aly - just discovered your blog and really enjoying it. Just getting into the Crimean War myself and lots of inspiration here! My first unit was French Grenadiers, which are at my own blog here: https://tasmancave.blogspot.com/2024/01/ahpc-14-french-grenadiers.html
ReplyDeleteCheers, Paul
Hi Paul
DeleteYour Grenadiers look lovely…
I would never have thought they might end up on Mars 😁
All the best. Aly
What a fabulous parade Aly. While rebadging can be a bit of a chore, it is a very satisfying one.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mark…
DeleteYes a pain to do but the results are worth it.
All the best. Aly
They look amazing Aly, it will indeed be a great tabletop battle coming up!
ReplyDeleteThank you - Quinn
Thank you Quinn…
DeleteIt will be a while before they see battle but when they do I am sure it will be impressive.
All the best. Aly
That's a lot of Russians. I like the moody greay background.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed Bob…
DeleteI think I need a bigger mood grey background though 😁
All the best. Aly
