ALY MORRISON'S "BUTTERFLY" ADVENTURES IN THE WORLD OF WARGAMES AND TOY SOLDIERS

Late Roman… Another couple of units.

Greetings…

Here are the next two units in the Great Rebasing project…

A couple of Roman Infantry units…

These were a really easy job… All I did was replace some spears and and a standard then rebase.

The bases are from Warbases…

The plastic spears are from Fireforge Games…

There are some Goths/Germans getting their bases soaked at the moment and some command being worked on.

All the best   Aly

  1. Nice figures. I like Late Romans but never got round to sorting an army though I once started a DBA army. For for some reason, I had problems getting those shoulder patches to look right when I tried painting them.

    1. The Foundry Late Romans are a very nice range… Fortunately the the shoulder and tunic patches are modelled on.

  6. These just keep coming like a conveyor belt, but the quality looks like the best craftmanship - I wish...

    1. I haven’t needed to do much to these or the next units, so it’s been a fairly easy process.

  7. I like projects like this, you end up with a nice useable army for not too much effort! Thus enabling the entrepreneur to add a few more carefully chosen units

    1. I will initially use them for Hail Caesar but the basing will probably work with most rules.
