ALY MORRISON'S "BUTTERFLY" ADVENTURES IN THE WORLD OF WARGAMES AND TOY SOLDIERS

Late Romans… Rebased Command.

Greetings…

Here we have some rebased command groups…

These could be used for Roman or Romano-British…

Some of the colours were brightened up a bit and the standards were replaced.

These chaps will be used as Goths…

I repainted the shields…

They only needed a little sprucing and I’m very pleased with the results…

The bases are as always from Warbases…

The Standards were from Little Big Men Studios…

All the best.   Aly

  1. Command groups, always such a great opportunity for a vignette, I know you bought the flags but that bear on steroids is great,

    1. The Little Big Men flags and banners are terrific… I would never have gone to the trouble of painting something like that.

  4. Baldinus and Pompus Maximus are looking fine in their new home, as are those Goths. Your rebasing has really done the business for the Late Romans!

  6. That's a nasty looking weapon one of the Goths has. I like the way the commander on the second stand [on the right] is looking over the top of his shield. Again an enjoyable post. Thanks
