ALY MORRISON'S "BUTTERFLY" ADVENTURES IN THE WORLD OF WARGAMES AND TOY SOLDIERS

Wednesday 4 October 2023

Late Romans… Goths.

Greetings …

Here we have another rebased unit…

These will be used as  Goths/German Tribesmen…

Minimal sprucing except for the new plastic spears and repainted shields… The designs were inspired by some Little Big Men Studios transfers I had that were a bit to small for these shields… I’m really pleased how the came out… I really enjoyed painting them.

The bases are from Warbases…

The plastic spears are from Fireforge Games…

More Goths/Germans to come…

  3. So here come the Goths. I recognise some of the castings as being in my own warbands. As Phil says - nice work on the shields.

  4. Looks great - those big bases give the units a very different look to the usual individual or smaller bases - shields look great too - you are very brave tackling geometric shields like that!
