A Song of Drums and Shako's... Cluck,Squwonk and Woof

Greetings...
Today I finished off some objective markers for the Play By Email game that Mharaid and I have started... they are not all friendly...

We are only on the first move at the moment but I will post something when we are a bit further through the game...

Chickens ,Geese and an angry Dog... I thought that I had more wildlife than this... if I find more I will add it as we go along...

The Geese and chickens are from Warbases.. as are the bases.

They do a great little range of animals.. I will have to pick up some more...

The Dog is from a Salute miniature made by Michael Perry... I new it would come in useful.

All the best   Aly

  3. Although the sound of the geese is the best, my favorite has to be angry Dog.

  4. Excellent - the dog is scary. In fact geese are potentially scary too - my son was bitten on the backside by a goose at a camp site on the River Aisne when he was about five - only his dignity was damaged. I also recall that at Mendicino in California they keep geese on the old village green in commemoration of some bizarre event in history when the town's geese were disturbed by wicked intruders, and woke up the citizens. Hallelujah.

    Very nice, anyway!

    1. Thank you Tony...
Geese were often used as guard ‘ dogs’ as they are very territorial...and I speak from experience as I have had to nip passed them when I walk along the canal on the way to work in the morning...

  7. Very nice Aly. Why is the dog more of a French colour than the good old British variety though :)

  9. Duncan used to tease me about the deaf animals in the midst of battles back in the day of our Partizan games! Notwithstanding, I like those additions myself.
